It is situated in the heart of the Dordogne, in the village of Montfort, which is just south of the famous medieval town of Sarlat, and north of the gorgeous town of La Roque Gageac. One can actually look up to the Chateau de Montfort from the terrace. It's a perfect spot from which to enjoy quiet village life, yet be able to visit all the tourist sites of this fabulous region.
