Enjoy true Provencal life in this one hundred year old "maison de village" centered in the town of Eguilles, only 10 minutes to Aix-en-Provence. Aix was once the capital of Provence, and is often referred to as "the city of a thousand fountains", Eguilles has all facilities, but moves at a slower pace than Aix! The house has been totally renovated by its American owner, and is on 2 levels. It has a large terrace which has fabulous views over the countryside. Famous places such as Avignon, St. Remy, Arles, and the Mediterrean beaches are only 40 minutes away. A local bus goes into Aix every half hour in case you are not renting a car. A perfect little village house from which your family can explore Provence!
DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMODATION:
Living/Dining Room: Tall ceilings, fireplace, sofa and chairs, nicely decorated in Provencale yellows and blues. Large dining room table with wicker chairs. Room opens onto large terrace with outdoor furniture and beautiful views.
Kitchen: Fully equipped, with dishwasher, 2 ovens, and microwave, newly re-modeled, small breakfast room with table off of kitchen.
3 Bedrooms: Two with Queen size beds, and one with a single bed
2 ½ Bathrooms: One with shower, the other with bathtub and hand-held shower.
Pricing: Starts at $ 1650.00 per week. Monthly rentals available.
EXTRAS: Free parking on the street, just below the house. Owner will customize an itinerary of Sight-seeing in Provence with request and for an extra fee.
