MAISON LORGUES

The 5 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with twin beds (80" x 36") that can be made together for one wide double, are named after Provence flowers and Provençal-style furnished. They are all equipped with a large closet. There is a hair dryer in each bathroom. They all have en-suite bathrooms.

On the ground floor :
"Mimosa", large bedroom with French doors that lead to the south garden, bathroom and separate toilet.

On upper floor :
"Lavande", one of the windows opens south, the other one on the west side of the garden, with a shower room and toilet.

"Romarin", with French doors opening onto a private balcony facing south. The east window has a view on the pool. Shower room and toilet.

"Rose", this charming bedroom looks south like its shower room with toilet.

"L'olivier", looks south and east. Magnificent sunrises can be enjoyed from the beds. The shower room and toilet look at the pool.

The French doors of the 250 square ft living room lead to the south garden. It provides comfortable covered seating in order to enjoy the wood-burning Godin furnace, the LCD satellite programmed TV set, DVD player, and stereo music player. Internet connection is high speed and wireless.

3 large steps lead to the dining room and open kitchen which are entered by 3 wide sliding doors that open onto the covered terrace and garden.

The dining room and kitchen share 500 square feet:

As most of the time people eat outside under the covered terrace, the large tables of the dining room are more often useful for children games and/or the display of maps of the area.

The open kitchen is fully equipped with a large sink, 2 refrigerators, a deep freezer, an electric oven, 2 dishwashers, 5 gas burners, a washing machine and many electric appliances such as a microwave, boiler, coffee machine, etc.The kitchen opens up onto a large terrace for outside meals.

Assuming that the pool is the place where one spends the main part of the holidays, the pool was designed in order to swim comfortably. It is rectangular shaped like an old basin, coated with tiles, and large : 45 x 20 feet. The water is salted so that it does not hurt the eyes and does not dry the skin. Depth of 3,3 feet allows to walk in the water all around the pool and maximum depth of 6,6 feet in the center allows diving. It is lit at night and equipped with an electronic alarm system.

By the pool, one can lounge on comfortable "chaises longues" under the parasols that shade the 1,200 square feet stone terrace or one can prefer the shade of the oak trees and other trees around.

The 25,000 square ft garden is fenced (the main reason being the wild boars that enjoy bathing in the pool or digging holes in the garden.).A large covered terrace opens on the dining room and the kitchen. It's the true "living room" of the house, favorite place of the guests, close to the pool and looking at the gorgeous view on the Maures mountains. The garden is lit at night and has comfortable garden furniture for 10 people.

Please note: As it is strictly forbidden to light a fire outside from April 1st to Nov 1st, BBQ is not possible but there is a large gas cooking "plancha" in order to cook in open air.

There is table tennis and "pétanque" boules for sporty guests.
